SUBLIME
Sublime, an open edition print, depicts a shy and captivating tulip, delicately captured by my scanner. I think flowers have their own personality - I couldn't place this beautiful tulip in front of the scanner camera - it spun around and only offered its profile by crumpling its petals. As soon as I placed it from the back, it seemed only natural to capture it in this way. This exquisite piece serves as a reminder to savour and appreciate the simple but finer things in life, without trying to control them.
